“School Districts’ Tweet Content Patterns Related to Technology and School Performance.”
A subgroup of my research lab presented at AECT 2020. We focus on analyzing social media patterns using machine learning techniques to identify meaningful information. We were able to differentiate some Twitter content patterns of school districts in Texas. Some school districts of a specific content pattern on Twitter showed better performance than other districts, which is quite interesting. We might be able to predict a school district’s performance by simply reading their Twitter postings… (a little scary though). A journal paper will be coming soon.
