We are seeking two Ph.D. students (fully funded) to join the Einbrain Lab for research in AI engineering for human performance.

– Goal Statement: Using advanced technologies such as AI/ML/VR/MR, we develop software/programs to enhance human learning and performance. Therefore, team members should be proficient in application programming.

– Example projects include but are not limited to:

  1. Flutter-based mobile web/App development (incorporating speech and face recognition modules to interact with learners)
  2. Unity-based VR/MR development, and Roblox for kids’ learning (AI-based Non-player characters assist learners)
  3. (Mostly) Firebase for our database and Python for back-end server processing
  4. (Upcoming project) Running and fine-tuning Open-source LLM for creating conversation-based learning activities
  5. Measurement/analysis of users’ learning, performance, user data (e.g., eye tracking, EEG), and system logs
